"Ouija was the first song we finished after "Cellar Door" was released (August 2016). I was playing around with different arpeggiator settings on synthesizers and I stumbled upon a couple glitchy, strange patterns and was immediately hooked. The rest of the song was written around those pieces. Lyrically, it has to do with someone bored with life, who develops an interest in the paranormal world to compensate for feeling so out of touch with the real one."
