"It Hurts" is the first single off of the upcoming Graveyard Club record "Goodnight Paradise," out June 28th.
A song about the doubt, sadness, and hope that having to say goodbye to someone or something can bring into one's life. Perhaps a person can even find a semblance of freedom in the simple admission that "It Hurts." With washed-out synth pads, shimmering guitar lines and driving bass, the song is drenched in summer sun, although lyrically, it paints a darker picture.
